Sela is a settlement on the left bank of the river Polskava to the south of Ptuj in eastern Slovenia. It belongs to the Videm Municipality and forms a more or less continuous settlement with neighbouring Barislovci. The area traditionally belonged to the Styria region. It is now included in the Podravska statistical region.[2]
The local church, dedicated to the Holy Family, though technically in Barislovci, is known locally as the church at Sela. There is also a small chapel with a belfry at the village crossroads. It was built in 1920.[3]
